As she entered her 60s, everyday tasks that once seemed simple—like mowing the lawn, shoveling snow, and taking out the trash—became more challenging. While I could easily find someone to handle the yard work, there was one task I made sure to do myself: every Wednesday night, I took out her trash and recycling, and the next day, I returned to replace the bins.

It wasn’t long before I realized my mother wasn’t the only one facing this challenge. There were countless other seniors and busy individuals who could use a helping hand. That’s when the idea for Trashport Valet was born.

What started as a personal act of care has now grown into a dedicated service, assisting residents, apartment complexes, and businesses across Prince George’s County and Anne Arundel County.
